The Fall of December in meaning is multifaceted.

The Fall:  represents the end; 

December:  represents the struggle

     December is a trying time of year for a lot of people, and not just one December, but possibly every time it comes back around.  For me, that time of year can feel daunting.  My Mother, and Baby Sister have birthdays a week apart, right around Christmas. 

     In 2015, after moving back to LA from a 7-year stint on the east coast (Philadelphia and surrounding areas), I made the decision that I would pursue my craft and talent professionally until I succeed or die.  

     In that pursuit, life had its own plans, and I struggled for much of it financially; classic case of the starving artist.  During those times, when I had nothing tangible to gift my family with, I doubled down on the intensity of becoming sustainable as a creative, and forged 3 full length mixtapes in 1 year:

     31 Hip Hop/R&B tracks all from the SOUL; my character-building experiences with love of all kinds, and life of all walks.  I took those frequencies, and aggressively searched for shows, and events to perform at, and attend to perpetuate my art.  It was “MY GIFT” to my family to succeed at a level that there would be NO MORE “Warm December’s”… 

    Thus is, “The Fall of December”; the end of the struggle. My “Victory Lap” so to speak;  focusing on abundance rather than lack the last two and half years, and getting out of my own way, not being stagnant because of perceived deficiencies in resources.

     I am deficient of nothing, everything I need to achieve my desires, is before me.  I have to be willing to be GREAT to see it through. 

There’s so much abundance, that I created an imprint for my music business dealings: 

The PUSH & BOYD Collective:  Persist Until Something Happens & Bet On Your Dream

     Furthermore, it isn’t just an “imprint” but a STATEMENT, and VALUED STOCK.  There are 27 shareholders apart of The PUSH & BOYD Collective. Never could I have done this, had I not changed my perspective about abundance.

     To conclude, I welcome you to the journey this project will embark upon over 6 months, and I encourage you to SHARE the music that comes out, with the people you normally share your favorites with; or when you discover a new artist; I just might be their cup of tea too!

If you're reading this, we've probably shared a special moment while on this journey we call THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE!  

So, thank you granting me yet another instant, and diving a little deeper into my perspective of expression. 

If you're a shareholder, a quick acknowledgement of admiration to you, for your confidence in my creative & business acumen, and becoming shareholders of the album ‘The Fall of December’.

If you are just arriving, you are just as welcomed and valued because you are an integral part of the “COLLECTIVE”, … growth!

Speaking growth… some of you reading may not be aware, but officially, I SIGNED MYSELF.  After a transformative turn of the decade, so many of us were newly enlightened.  

It took a few breakdowns and bounce-backs to understand the abundance I was already surrounded with.  All it ever takes is a consistent amount of application. 

THUS, I applied the concept instilled during the ‘we.NEGUS we dot if you not’ album campaign, and scaled it from an EP to an album; an album to a collective, The PUSH & BOYD Collective.  

Over the years I've gained many great relationships of very skilled and adept people in and around entertainment & NOT entertainment.  

Utilizing the tool that is money, but also a good amount of bartering and relationship building… and money (lol)… my day one and I starting building the content:  ideas for beats, experiences, visuals, studio sessions, songwriting sessions, etc… and we began forging an album.  

My day one (Agyemansta) and I didn't think it would be a 3 year journey to this point, but one thing I always echoed to him after we shot 3 full videos to the 4 song EP (we.NEGUS), was lets not drop NOTHING until we shoot everything, or at least a bulk of it.

So we stuck to the script. At that point it was a 12 song album with 9 skeleton songs (I wrote the last 3 in a cumulative hour and half while homeless and heartbroken)… 

But in my healing experience and building more relationships with people, we added 5 more CERTIFIED BANGERS and a one off that I think is a sleeper. 

We've been shooting and editing content to this project for the last three years as well.  Essentially, I will be in your feeds and hopefully your playlists once the ball drops. 

I truly pray that this message is received with excitement for what is to come.   I know a lot of you want to see me out performing, and new music, etc… well be careful what you ask for…  also, be careful in general, especially with yourself; grace is all I ask.
